The monitor has hdmi and display port inputs. I think your Mac has an hdmi output port built in, so a regular hdmi cable would work. I also think your Mac has the square’ish thunderbolt 2 ports. If so, a cable with this on one end and DisplayPort on the other should work as well. This type of cable might be harder to find these days though. Hope this helps…
