“Is there a lag in the subwoofer sound seeing that it is wireless and the sound bar is not?”

I haven't notice any lag between soundbar + woofer. The lag comes between tv speaker and soundbar if you have them on at same time. You will notice slight echo. But with soundbar turned up and tv at lower ratio you barely notice echo. You have to balance volume right if you want both to play at same time.
