• A:Answer Depending on the television.. I’m running a Samsung Q70 and I just go into settings and click optical but I have to do it every time I turn the TV off using the cable remote.. if I use the tv remote then it stays on optical.. kind of cumbersome, but the sound is worth the extra steps.
