QuestionDoes unit have ARC HDMI connection?

- Answer Yes. I’ve had issues over the last two weeks, first two I’ve owned it, with the ARC connection failing and having to unplug and replay the TV and bar. I spent two hours with Samsung support chat troubleshooting and that’s the only thing that works.

QuestionI just bought the Samsung Series 8 TV and this matching/recommended Soundbar....when I connect a brand new HMDI cable(6 of them) into the HDMI ARC plugs on the Soundbar and TV it says that there is a problem with the HDMI Cable. Is this a TV problem?

- Answer We have Roku and we still need to use the Samsung remote. We tried but it just didn’t work out but for us that’s ok. We love our Roku but their remotes suck! The Samsung remote is very nice and it gives features you wouldn’t be able to use with the Roku controller. Hope that helps. It’s an AWESOME unit.

- Answer On the Samsung 3.1 channel soundbar you can. Just set it to whatever you want and leave it there. You're not unplugging it are you?

- Answer If it's the bluetooth yes because there is a BT Rear speaker from Samsung I am going to get for about 199. If not before buying maybe look for one that is bluetooth compatible .Samsung DEFINATELY has one .

QuestionI have a receiver but the cable wires are different. So in order for me to connect the tv to a receiver do I have to buy a new receiver or can I buy converter wires to enable me to not have to buy a new receiver?

- Answer For the Samsung 3.1 you connect via HDMI port that is on the TV called :TV ARC port. It wouldnt recognize each other otherwise.
