“Are all the settings for the sound bar/subwoofer done through the tv or through the sound bar?”

• Per the reply of hooking up HDMI and messing with tv sound settings. Can you also do this via Fiber optic? my TV doesnt have HDMI. will this still help bring sub volume up?

• No, also in the TV. I was displeased at first..until i hooked it to my phone and it bumped! Here is what you gotta do: You need to use the hdmi cord instead of included optical. Then mess with the settings on the TV audio. Go to sound, exper settings, set hdmi input to Pcm, digital output to dts neo 2.5 will get you booming.
