“I want to use this soundbar between a new 8000 series 4K HDR TV and a new UBD-K8500 4K Blu-Ray player. The question is, does the soundbar support ARC and will it pass-through 4K HDR?”

I cannot get the ARC to play 4K at all. This sounbar does not support 4K. You must use optical cable to get audio and use your TV for 4K viewing (and not rely on the ARC of this soundbar).

Yes it will support ARC. Do not know about 4k HD.

Yes it does, it has an ARC HDMI slot and an addt’l HDMI slot to hook up another thing to it.

yes it supports arc, the 4k HDR is a TV spec.
