Make sure ask the Best Buy associate first since you have an older tv to make sure it’s compatiable. I just purchase the sound bar system but i didn’t get the surround sound is optional and very easy to set up because it’s wireless and it’s bluetooth to the system. I had geek squad set mind up it cost 100 for them to come out and do it. Ive could of done it but I wanted to play on the safe side. I hope I answerd you question.
