“I mainly want this soundbar for the middle speaker as I have a hard time hearing words correctly. So do I need the soundbar with a subwoofer? If I do need the subwoofer,can you put it inside a cabinet with a glass door on it (&below TV)”

Hi Cissy49, You can use the subwoofer or leave it out altogether. The sub will certainly add bass and a rumble, whether you put it in a cabinet or not, but it will not affect the clarity of the audio. Cheers! ^Scott
