“My Emerson TV only has HDMI inputs and RCA cable ports. My cable provider uses TIVO for a DVR and it has digital optical port. Can I use this by connecting the sound bar via digital optical between TIVO and sound bar? My old sound bar worked that way.”

Hi Mary! Yes, you can connect the TIVO DVR direct to the soundbar via digital optical to allow your cable providers audio to play through the soundbar. ^Tim
