A:AnswerMost Samsung "front load" dryers (meaning those designed to match a front load washer) can be stacked on top of newer Samsung front load washers using the SK-5A stacking kit accessory. To be sure the models your considering stacking are indeed compatible, please check with your local Best Buy appliance associate, call 800-SAMSUNG, or submit a new question containing the model numbers.
Thank you,
Ms. Samsung
A:AnswerThank you for the questions. The SK-5A Stacking Kit is needed to stack a compatible Samsung dryer on top of the WF393BTPAWR washer. This is an optional accessory which you'll need to purchase separately.
Following are the answers to your other questions.
1) By "no. of cycle" I assume you're referring to the estimated cycle time shown on the display. This time varies depending on which cycle or options you choose, as appropriate for the types of items you're washing. For example, a cold water Quick Wash will take less time than a Heavy Duty or Sanitize cycle with Extra Rinse and Extra Spin selected.
2) The washer is powered by electricity only (not gas) and should be plugged into a dedicated, grounded, 3-prong 120V/60 Hz/15-amp outlet. Whether to choose an electric or gas dryer depends on several factors. Most people base the decision on what their home is already set up for: natural gas, liquid propane or a 240V/60 Hz/30-amp electrical circuit. Cost effectiveness can vary depending on your local energy rates, so I would suggest consulting with your local power company, fuel supplier or your local Best Buy Appliance Team.
The Samsung dryers that are designed to match the WF393BTPAWR washer are model numbers:
• DV393GTPAWR - gas; for liquid propane you'll also need the optional LPKIT-3 Conversion Kit accessory
• DV393ETPAWR - electric
3) It's important for a dryer's capacity to be significantly larger than it's matching washer to enable the air to circulate through a full load of clothes, bedding, etc. The dryer that's designed to match the 3.9 cubic foot WF393BTPAWR washer is actually 7.4 cubic feet.
4) Hot water and steam can be very helpful in removing stains, and can also help to sanitize. Samsung recommends referring to the fabric care instructions on your garments to select the appropriate water temperature, spin speed and type of detergents or additives to use.
I hope you find this information helpful. We appreciate your interest in Samsung washers and dryers!

A:AnswerThanks for the question. The WF393BTPAWR is 27" wide and 32-1/4" deep, though the distance between the feet (side to side and front to back) is about 25". The biggest challenge in selecting an appropriate drip pan is choosing one that has a low enough lip and enough room at the sides to enable you to level the washer once it's resting in the pan. I would suggest contacting your local Best Buy Appliance Associate for information and availability in your area.

A:AnswerNo....sorry to say. We tried the same thing on an old Whirlpool front load washer that lasted us 11 years. We bought the new Samsung 4.0 cubic feet steam washer. Samsung has their own proprietary pedestal drawers. The washer feet fit thru holes in the top of the drawers. Then the drawer pedestal feet can be adjusted for ballancing the washer. Best to buy a new one! Take the old one and use for an outdoor planter or sell it on ebay.
A:Answerthey don't come with it.. its just the machine.. and also when you buy the dryer.. it doesn't comes with the power cord you need to get it as a spare part..
