Can the bluetooth wireless module be removed? It seems it would not fit our existing cut-out. null

I had a question about the wireless module too. We're replacing an existing cooktop with this one. Our existing cooktop has a down draft exhause positioned within 1/8th of an inch of the rear of the current cooktop. I can't really tell from the pictures whether the wireless module extends beyond the dimension of the top or not. Does it?

Yes, the bluetooth module can be removed. The cooktop comes with a little black plastic plug that covers the hole and instructions that mention how to move the wires. However, you might not need to remove the smart module, since it is on top of the surface.
