Hello wilddflowerr. The top part is 16.6cu ft. The design of the Samsung RF30KMEDBSR Refrigerator will only allow you to use the fridge as a fridge with temperatures from 34°F (1°C) to 44 °F (7 °C) and the freezer as a freezer with temperatures from 5 °F (-15 °C) to -8 °F (-23 °C) Also, the Flex Zone can only be set at 4 different temperatures: Meat/Fish 29 °F(-1 °C), Cold Drink 33 °F(1 °C), Deli/Snack 37 °F(3 °C) and Wine/Party Dishes 42 °F(5 °C). ^Joan
