Never thought I'd love an appliance so much. There's so much room! Love the snack drawer!

I am really impressed with how big this refrigerator is and the amount of food it holds. It is not exactly finger proof resistent but it is what I wanted. Purchasing it from Best Buy it was cheaper than Lowes. Chris was a gem to deal with as a salesman. He didn't pressure me to buy it.

This will be my last Samsung refrigerator. This will be my second purchase of a Samsung refrigerator. The first was a stainless-steel French three door Model RFG297ABRS/XAA purchased 3-15-2010 at BestBuy, this unit was attractive, functional, solid, and of well designed, but not without issue. From time to time it had to be unplugged to reset, it could not recover after a power outage, again it had to be unplugged to reset, also the ice maker would occasionally freeze solid and had to be thawed. These short comings were tolerated amide its attributives. This refrigerator served us for 9 years when it developed a freon leak in one of the internal carcass embedded coolant lines, poor material chose for that application. This refrigerator fell far short of the twenty plus years of service that the Kitchen Ad provided that was still operational, that it replaced. Researching for a Samsung alternative replacement I discovered thru many online reviews of other major brand that they also were with issue, I also discovered that 9 years of service from this Samsung was above the norm for current appliance life expectancy, how very sad. Being familiar, trained and conditioned to the host of Samsung refrigerator short cummings, I decided to give Samsung another try. The second and current Samsung refrigerator is a French four door stainless steel Model RF30KMEDBSR/AA rev 07 purchased 10-25-2019 at BestBuy delivered 10-29-2019 (issue with delivery mj). Although I have only owned this refrigerator a short time, I can site many additional issues with this refrigerator compared to the prior model. Appearance; not very attractive, exterior stainless steel is thin, wavy, and distorted, not at all as the units on show-room display. Functionality; has many areas of concern, primarily on initial startup the compressor ran hard and loud, freezer and refrigerator achieved set temperatures within two hours. Compressor ran hard and loud for an additional six hours, upon inspection the compressor was so hot it could not be touched, estimated approximately 200+f, the floor directly under the compressor was very hot as well. The unit was unplugged and allowed to cool and reset, after restarting the compressor ran slower, cooler, and not as loud, possibly its normal sound level, although notably louder than its predecessor, effect on Compressor life to be considered. On a lesser note, the Flex Drawer Control Pad Temperature Select Button has issue in function, Samsung is currently attempting to correct, also the front wheels of the upper tray in the freezer compartment where left with so many mold injection flashings that they could not roll, but only slide dragging back and forth on their rails. Solid; took a manger hint, as mentioned, the thin exterior stainless-steel skin, also equally concerning is the noted weaker, flimsier interior shelving, drawers, bins, and trays, again compared to the prior Samsung model, possibly stronger material used to compensate for a less substantial structure, only time will tell. The gauge of metal used in the carcass is the thinnest I have ever seen, although the refrigerator weights in at almost four hundred pounds. Design; is where this unit shines, without all the above-mentioned issues the refrigerator would be better appreciated. All being said, I have learned that to comfortably own one of these refrigerators, you should plan on replacing the unit within its short life expectancy, and/or have a reliably back up refrigerator on hand. For being a working class American, it is hard not to feel the sting of spending such hard earned savings on these appliances, that have become so degraded, fickle, short lived, and unreliable.

We love the are fridge! The stainless steel outside is shiny and looks very rich. Interior has lot of room to store things. The interior lighting is great ! The water fountain needs some improvement, as the dispenser spout is too short and filling water in narrow bottles always spills water outside.

Ordered this on black Friday and couldn't get it until after christmas. However, this fridge is the best thing ever for a large family. The pull out drawer is full of kids school lunch stuff. They can easily reach it and see into it, and there's plenty of room. The divider separates lunchables from yogurt from fruit from lunchmeat. Door storage is plenty big to hold 2 milk gallons or 1 gallon and a couple soda bottles. I like that the one shelf has a retractable piece, allowing for storage of tall things in the large part of the fridge if you need it as well, or extra shelf space if needed. Much of the left door is taken up by the ice machine/ water stuff, but that is to be expected.

We got his on the Presidents’ Day sale, so was an awesome deal for the size of it. Our family is growing so we needed the space. So far been working great except the ice machine had issues one time. But the service was great.

I bought a Whirlpool originally in the same configuration but the constant fan noise it made was immediately a problem. I traded up to this and couldn't be happier. It's quiet and the black stainless does NOT show finger prints. Lots of space. A well thought out Fridge.

Love the middle drawer for drinks at a separate temperature. The ice maker is not as 'accessable' as there are occasions we need to fill a lot of glasses at once. The freezer is awesome. It holds more than the die by side and is easier to access and see what is in there.

We looked at a lot of refrigerators and my Mom kept coming back to this one. She loves the extra drawer to use as a fridge or freezer. Black stainless is awesome!

I can't complain, our old fridge was always full and this one has so much room seems like we never have enough food to fill it. Nice and quiet.

Only had it a week but it it great looking and runs very quietly. No issues with the ice maker and have been pleasantly surprised by how simple the abundant technology is.

I have owned 4 or 5 refrigerators and this is byfar the best. The capacity alone is incredible and it does not take up too much space which is remarkable considerable the amount of usable storage space. The extra cooling draw is also incredibly convenient! I would definitely recommend.

We’ve been very happy with the refrigerator. Vast amounts of space. The middle drawer has been so useful, we love it. We did have one issue after seven months, out of the blue, whenever we’d open the left door the ice maker door would activate and keep opening and closing for hours on end. But it was under warranty and it was fixed no problem.

Good Samsung quality. Matches the rest of appliances and has about as much room inside as you can hope to get with a fridge.

I have not found an easy way to save ice. It all comes from the dispenser and you are not able to access any area of the icemaker except from the door.

I have been a long time Frigidaire purchaser. But, the style and the convenience of the drawer and freezer is what drew me to the Samsung. Because we purchased on the mark down section of the department, we were afraid that it wouldn't work 100%. We had a small problem with the freezer about a week after we had it and Best Buy was great in correcting it.

It's fits our large grocery needs perfectly. The middle drawer is great for snacks for smaller children who can't reach the shelves. The water filter does a good job of making the water taste drinkable too.

So far perfect. Has an extraordinary amount of space and great visibility. Flex compartment works great allowing us to separate meats, butter, cheese, and other products. Let’s hope long term is as good.

Love the big size, room for everything, and easy to organize and find what looking for.
