“The glass tray seems to be heavier than what the rotation mechanism can hold. It stops turning. if you take the glass tray out it works. Any suggestions ?”

Hi Marsam, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We apologize for the inconvenience since the turntable stops turning. While turning, the turntable comes out of place or stops turning. There is no roller ring, or the roller ring is not properly in place. Install the roller ring and then try again. You can check the user's manual on page 20.
