“Does oven door remain open during broiling when bottom oven is also being used? I am confused with instruction manual. It would seem impossible to hold temperature in bottom cavity, yet supposedly you can broil and bake at same time.”

Thanks for the question. The FE710DRS is designed to maintain the set temperatures in the upper and lower ovens by cycling the elements and fans as needed. Opening the door only to the "broil stop" position should not prevent the lower oven from maintaining the temperature, particularly since the broil function is usually used for a relatively short period of time. - Ms. Samsung
