I will never ever buy another Samsung product. After one year the compressor went out on this unit. Best Buy sent someone out within 3 weeks (yes, 3 weeks) to diagnose it. It was not repairable. Samsung made good on the warranty. It took them over two months to issue me a check. I had to call Samsung every week for updates, staying on the phone over and hour and a half with each call. Best Buy refunded my Black Tie warranty right away. Done with Samsung.

I just posted my first review after owning this unit for 13 months since I ran into a slight issue where the fridge is irreparable and it will take weeks to get things sorted out. I also cannot get rid of the fridge while I am in the process of getting a refund/exchange.

There are a number of factors that can affect the ability of the ice maker to produce ice, including the incoming water pressure, temperature settings, and age of the filter. Following the installation and initialization procedure, such as bleeding air from the lines and dispensing ice periodically as the bin starts to fill, can help to maximize performance.
