“How much space does this refrigerator need to work efficiently since there are vents on both side? We took measurements from the website before making the ref enclosure for our new kitchen. This refrigerator fits snugly in it. We didn't realize the vents are on the sides and not at the back of the machine.”

Thanks for choosing Samsung! The RF32FMQDBSR and several other Samsung Refrigerators have vents on the side in addition to the back to help increase their energy efficiency. Samsung recommends leaving at least 3/8" on each side of the Refrigerator as well as 1" behind it for air circulation and ease of movement. - Ms. Samsung
