all depenpend on how big you need the screen. i'm usuing with my console XB and is really good for me, on my small room sound excellent

Yes but 32 inch is small. Good for a smaller room or close up.

I think it would work well in a game room. Either on top of a cabinet (or something) or wall mounted.

It would Depend on the size of the room. The room I have it in is 12x14. If you have a larger room I would suggest a 42 inch
