“Mini Jack? In all my searches for this model prior to purchase I know I saw mini jack mentioned somewhere. I cant seem to find it. In the event I'm losing my mind, does anyone know a way to connect a pair of Bose computer/desktop type speakers with the traditional 2 to 1 mini jack male end? If I can hook these up then I can plug my headphones into them. OR Any headphone type options I could use with this model? Cant really play my new PlayStation late night with Mom sleeping in the next room. Thanks for any help you can offer.”

Unfortunate thing is it only has an optical audio out and not the usual 3.5 mom jack. You cannot plug in a headphone. You need to get a adapter to convert optical out to audio jack.. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, you would not be able to connect a set of headphones with the mini-jack using that port, however you would be able to use a wireless transmitter+ headphone combination (sold separately) provided it supports a digital optical (TOSLINK) output. There are some digital to analog converters, but it's probably best to use a headset that directly supports the port. --Mr. S
