• No it won't fit in 23 inches I think I measured it and it's like 29 inches around that I figure 30 inches y'all need for it to set on

• The ends of the feet are 28" wide. It just fit my table and I put black tape (Gorilla brand) across the back "toes" to make sure it is secure in place. I can't notice the tape because it is black and in back.
