NO, not "as is" out of the box. I DO NOT recommend using any type of adapter, why risk such a GREAT TV? When you see Samsung Model #'s ~ take note of the first two letters. "UN" denotes 110V/ac (No. America)... if the letters are "EN" that denotes 220V/ac (Europe). Also, there may be other differences. My newest Samsung is a UN32***, (32 is screen class size in inches), the one to buy for the US market and it has a straight flat panel. The European Union model, EN32*** is a curved screen design. I am not sure if other differences exist but I was comparing the same series numbers (6300). READ the features and SPECIFICATIONS! BestBuy ad or at the Samsung site provide most of the answers to most of these questions. However, some of these questions and answers are VERY HELPFUL, thank-you!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Models sold in the U.S. region support only the U.S. standard of 110-120v/60Hz. We recommend purchasing your product in the region it will be used to ensure compatibility with the power and broadcast standards of that region. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S
