“Does tis TV have an on timer?. I have owned 5 diferent Samsung TVs. They all had on timers, unti 2 years ago with the 40" Model: UN40M5300AFXZA. It did NOT have an on timer, only sleep/off timers.”

No, it only has a sleep "off" timer. Sleep time in 30 minute intervals up to something like 120 minutes.
