Speakers can not be connected directly to this tv since the only audio output is a digital optical/fiber optic port. There are converters that can change the fiber optic to analog rca and/or 3.5mm headphone/line jack. This is the one that I use as my theater system in my rv, since it doesn’t have fiber optic and only has rca connections. Insignia™ - Optical/Coaxial Digital-to-Analog Converter - Black Model:NS-HZ313. This converter won’t have enough power to drive a speaker but does a great job at converting clear signal for most any headunit/amp. Most sound bars and home theater systems will have a digital optical/fiber optic port on them so in that instance all you will need is a digital optical cable long enough to connect the tv to the audio device.
