Yes there is a way to control your TV without the remote! The Power Button on the bottom right cycles through the basic functions Power, channel up, channel down, volume up, volume down (May not be in correct order) you would press the power button to let say volume up, you would press the power button till then and hold! for power off you would press power then hold to shut off! However for smart functions and setup, you would need the remote!
