At this size it is more a personal choice based on your circumstance. I bought one to use as PC monitor for my laptop but I find myself also using it to stream online entertainment as well. You definitely don't want to mount his on the wall in your living room 6' away but maybe have it on the kitchen counter or in a bedroom.
