• Sound is actually pretty good. I use mine for console gaming, occasional streaming, and as a PC screen. Console audio is very good. Also streaming audio is more than sufficient. If you are not satisfied with the native audio, you can always buy a soundbar later.

• Yes it has good sound. I am not buying external speakers. You only have to purchase external speakers if you want the big home theater sound.
