• Hi there, First, let's ensure the Samsung TV speaker is chosen when you are using DIRECT TV. To do so head to Settings> Sound> Sound Output and select TV Speaker. If that does not solve your issue, then we will need to test the sound. To do so navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis, and then select Start Sound Test. If the test reveals a problem, navigate to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings, and then select Reset Sound. Next, let's check your firmware. Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update.
