• Cr - The Solar Cell Remote does not utilize batteries and can be charged with sunlight, indoor/ambient lighting, or with a USB-c charging cable (not included). ^Gina

• It charges by light only, no replaceable batteries as there is no cover to open. I just keep mine turned over so that the panel is always facing up when not using it and the light from the room keeps it charged. I have not had it even run down.
