The documentation shipped with the QN32Q8FAAF indicates M8 screws should be used. That is incorrect. M4 screws are the correct size to fit the thread inside the back of the TV. And the approximate length is about 1" assuming a normal thickness of the bracket. Be careful about using too long screws. Like you, I was about to return the TV as the on-line support information on the Samsung website has the size of screws wrong for this 32" TV. I also feel the M4 screws are too light for this TV. Hope the internal mounting bracket inside the back of the TV doesn't strip or fail over time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is not true about mounting it. We’ve had ours for two weeks and after seven hours on the phone with Samsung apparently even though the M4 screws are listed as what you would use. No screws will fit. Finally we were told there’s some sort of adapter with tubes that are built into it that go into those holes since they’re not for screws. Get this…… They don’t make it and they couldn’t tell me where to get it. This TV you cannot mount despite it having VESA holes on the back. M4 screws do not work… no screws will work. Apparently there’s an adapter somehow that it’s supposed to be mounted with but not one person at Samsung could get me help. They just kept saying use the M4 screws. A parts guy, then finally said there was an adapter for that particular 2025 model. But there’s nowhere to buy it.
