“Is there a protective film over the screen?”

• Cheri - Please note that not all Samsung TVs come with screen film, and when present, it will include an orange pull tab in the corner of the screen, along with an illustration to help guide safe removal. In rare cases, there may be a protective film without a pull tab. If this is the case, look for a barcode sticker on the screen. You can also try using a piece of tape - stick it gently to a corner of the screen and pull to check for a film layer. If there’s no tab, barcode, or liftable layer, then the panel does not have a removable film. If you're unsure or have any concerns, please contact Samsung Support before attempting removal.
