You SHOULD be able to and used to be able to via the Smart Things app. However, Samsung has broken this with an app update several versions ago and has NOT fixed it. Until they fix it, there is no way to do it. We just bought this TV and cannot upload our family pictures to it. I am so frustrated. They fail to fix this problem, too, even though it is a well documented issue. It’s also Samsung, so they have VERY deep pockets to fix, but will not. I completely regret giving them my money.

Show off your artistic flair on The Frame using your own pictures! You can upload your artwork or photography with the SmartThings app or via a USB drive. For a full list of supported USB formats, please see the E-Manual which can be downloaded on Samsung's website under 'Support'. ^Gina

They can either be uploaded via USB Flash Drive or via Samsung's mobile app. I just transfer my images onto the USB stick (JPG files) and then insert the stick into the Hub/black box and from there you can scroll the menu options to use your USB stick for your own photos. If you want to insert the frame options for the photos etc, you will need to add/store the selected images from the stick to "My Photos". All your uploaded photos will be found here. Hope this helps, all the best!
