Q1. No it does not have HDMI port 2.1 however that is only necessary when gaming at 4k. HDMI 2.0 is perfect for 1440p gaming. Q2. Yes, the Samsung 32" Odyssey G50D QHD IPS 180Hz monitor does have HDMI Forum VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) support, which is compatible with AMD FreeSync and G-Sync technology.
