• Yes, specs state that one set of burners has a bridge.

• Sort of. Two of the burners are close enough to be like a bridge and combined. You just have to control each burner separately. It's not hard and not worth paying extra money to have one controller sync both if you don't do this often. It's quite easy to do this manually.
