A:AnswerHi there,
Thank you for reaching out with your question about using a single ice bin in your Samsung refrigerator. I'm happy to assist you.
Yes, using only one of the ice bins in your refrigerator is possible without causing a water leak. The ice maker's design ensures that it will function correctly with just one bin in place. However, if you encounter any unexpected issues, please contact us for further support.
Please see page 37 under "Turning on or off the ice maker" for instructions on turning the ice maker on and off, and the link below for additional instructions and hyperlinks.

A:AnswerThe delivery men came and checked out our doorway. They said it was 30 inches and they needed atleast a 31 inch doorway to get it through because of a motherboard on the back of the fridge. On the intial call when I talked to them before delivery he didnt seem to want to take off the doors. When they got to our house he said we would need to cut an inch into the doorway to get it through safely. He said taking off the doors would be no problem at all and we could reschedule a delivery once the kitchen door way was cut into. They offered to drop it off and we could do it ourselves if we wanted to try. The delivery man said he has 14 years experience delivering fridges and guaranteed this particular fridge would not fit through a 30 inch doorway. So im not sure if these 29 1/2 inch comments are accurate or if the delivery man didnt want to take off the doors and legs etc to get it through. They told us get a smaller fridge and we wont run into any issues. We are now heading back to Bestbuy to look at smaller fridges to hopefully avoid any delivery related issues again.
A:AnswerNot sure, but there is an area that tells you how to measure in 3 different areas and then you are looking at different refridgerators, a small box on the left of the page says whether it will fit or not.
A:AnswerHi Hunter,
Great question about the door design on your Samsung refrigerator.
This model does not have a motorized or electronic automatic-close feature. Instead, it uses recessed handles that are designed to gently pull the doors shut when they’re left slightly open, helping ensure a proper seal during everyday use.
We appreciate hearing from you, and Samsung truly values your business.

A:AnswerHi Victor,
Sharing questions like this highlights how clear cabinet dimensions and door sizing help shape expectations when planning space and everyday use of home appliances.
This model is designed with proportions that support smooth door movement and effective airflow when planned into a space thoughtfully. With an overall width of 35.75 inches and a height of 70 inches, allowing the recommended additional clearances, 3 inches for comfortable door opening and 2 inches above for ventilation, helps optimize everyday access and long‑term performance.

For this model the compatible water filter type is HAF-QIN/EXP (part number DA97 17376B). This is a genuine Samsung twist-in water filter designed for Bespoke and select French Door refrigerators, and it should be replaced about every six months to maintain water quality and proper flow.

A:AnswerHi Angie,
Yes, you can still install the water line to the refrigerator, and this will not damage the water filter. Please note that the water filter removes unwanted particles from your water. However, it does not sterilize or destroy microorganisms. You may need to purchase a water purifying system to do that.
Have a great day!

A:AnswerHi Sapo,
No, this Samsung refrigerator model does require clearance for the doors to open properly. Each French door will need 2 1/8 inches of space to open to 90°, especially if it's next to a wall or other obstacle.
