Thanks for the question. The WF405 has several nozzles that are visible at the top of the doorway, three of which are relevant to SpeedSpray and Steam. SpeedSpray uses a nozzle on the left during the wash cycle to spray water containing dissolved detergent into the clothes; the nozzle on the right sprays clean water during the rinse cycle. The small middle nozzle is used during Steam cycles. At times it may be difficult to actually see the water or steam spraying from the nozzles depending on the amount of soapy water or clothing that's pressing against the glass. - Ms. Samsung
