Yes. You only need to take out the liquid tray in the drawer for laundry additives, and you can put the powder detergent in the cavity.

Yes, you just have to pull the liquid cup out of the loading drawer. Then you can use powder.

There is a location on the machine that says powdered, however I've never tried it.

Yes. You simply have to remove the small plastic liquid tray insert to use soap powders.

Yes. Just remove the liquid insert.

Hi Liz, Yes, it's fine to use powdered detergent in the WF42H5000AW, as long as it's formulated for use in HE Washers. Be sure to remove the Liquid Detergent holder from the compartment before adding powdered detergent. - Ms. Samsung
