“My current machine is a front-load w/various spin speeds. Lower for delicate clothes. This machine only has one spin speed. Is the top load gentler on clothes, is that why only one speed? Thank you”

Hi Cindy, We appreciate your question about the speed setting the washer has. This Samsung washer model uses Samsung’s “Fuzzy Control” automatic control system. When you select a wash program, the machine will set the correct temperature, washing time, and washing speed. It may appear that this Samsung washing machine has 1 speed but has various speed set automatically depending on the wash program selected. Leo
