The washer and dryer are 39 inches tall, each. The stacking kit adds only about 1/2 inch. The issue that I have, and I am 6 feet tall, is that it is hard to read the display on the dryer when it is stacked. In addition, the buttons are silver with black print and you have to position yourself just right to read them.
