- Answer Open box is not necessary an used product. Item may had been returned for what ever reason. ie. too big,not big enough etc. Sometimes they are floor models. Minor scratch and dent.

QuestionWhen lid is up there’s a round blue nozzle that looks like it’s a prewash nozzle, but I don’t know how to turn it on, it’s to the left of the soap tray. Think it’s used to shoot a little water on a stain of shirt. Please help if anyone knows.

QuestionWhy are the wash cycles so long? All the cycles are 40-80 mins long, haven't found a way to adjust. even if I have a small load these times still apply unless I choose quick wash. Thought time was based on weight.

- Answer I noticed the wash times were a little more than my last washer (a Kenmore). But I also have noticed that the time readout changes after the load is balanced and water starts filling up. I don't think the change is very significant though. I do pretty much all medium to large loads, so not sure what would really change for a small load. But I have done smaller loads of whites. I think the time to clean a heavily soiled "large" load would be close to the same amount of time as a heavily soiled "small" load. The washer would be "agitating" the load for the same amount of time. I am not sure why weight would have anything to do with the time of the cycle. (With the exception of the time to fill the tub with water...) I have had no issues with how the washer performs. I have been happy with the cleanliness level of my clothes. I guess if you want or need a shorter cycle, then select light soil or do a quick wash.

QuestionIt seems that the clothes on top just kind of sit there and swish around a little bit. Doesn't really seem like an effective cleaning method. More like a presoaking with a small amount of agitation. Anyone else see this? Is there a better setting to use?

- Answer Yes, I have same problem. "It's how they function". Well, it doesn't work well. I add a gallon of water or so after I put clothes in (1/2 drum or less) to make the load "heavier", so more water is added to drum for wash/rinse. Silly, I know.

- Answer Yes. Poor agitation design, I believe. Wife has pair of black shorts I've washed 4 times, can't get residue to come off.

Question1. When using hot water there is a lot of condensation on the control panel and under the lid in the front. Normal? 2. My first non agitator/HE washer. Is the slight back and forth motion the norm for cleaning on this? Also the water never seems enough.

- Answer I see lots of condensation in my machine but not really on the panel. However, it is a washer so condensation should have no affect on the machine. Mine goes back and forth I believe to even the weight of the clothes, but once it loads the water the back and forth motion is a lot more vigorous. The amount of water that loads is determined by the cycle, the extras, and the weight of the load. Work with it and you will figure out what’s best for each load. My clothes are always clean and smell good so no complaints here. Lol

QuestionI purchased the 7050 model and noticed when it's washing, the machine moves the clothes around in the water at a slow speed. I know with an agitator, it moves the clothes fast. But why does this model move at a slower speed?

- Answer High efficiency machine, my guess is lower speeds for electricity savings, also possibly for less damage to clothing. All I know is that it doesn't do a good job of washing, not nearly as well as an agitator machine.

QuestionDoes this washer drain completely? My current front-loader leaves standing water in the bottom and has mildewed like crazy. My clothes never feel fresh, and I don't ever want to experience this in a washer again! Thanks!

QuestionI like to add oxy clean powder to my washes, at what point would I enter it and where should I put it?

- Answer I would add it directly into the barrel on top of the clothes and then make sure to choose the pre-wash cycle. Then use your liquid detergent/softener to the appropriate locations for the regular cycle. Powder Oxy Clean should only be used in a pre-wash... they do have a new liquid laundry detergent that is Produced by Oxy Clean and includes the magic!! It’s what I use and works just as well, Good luck!
