“Is Wifi always on with this washer and matching dryer? Or is it only optional, ie, to be connected when you want to troubleshoot? I do not have or want wifi in my home due to EMF exposure.”

Thanks so much for asking! This model does not actually have the ability to connect to the internet. It does however have the Smart Care feature that allows users to use a smart phone to diagnose any error codes that may appear on the washer. The Smart Care feature does not require the washer to be connected to the internet, however the smart phone used will need access to the internet in order to function. ^Jecca
