I was worried about the same thing when I first bought my Samsung steam set but our clothes actually come out cleaner. Even blood stains come completely out. I’ve had this set since early 2022 and love it. First, you need to drastically reduce the amount of detergent you’re using. High efficiency washers only use a tiny amount. For a large load, I set my machine at normal, add an extra rinse cycle so there’s 3 rinses total, then set the soil level to 3 or 4. That gives extra water & rinses. Only use 1 oz of liquid detergent! The tray will hold 4 oz of liquid but that’s entirely too much. Small loads need 1/2 ounce and large loads need 1 oz. Powder detergent only fill the scoop to the first line and add right to the back of the drum. Detergent pods & scent beads get put right in the drum, put them in the back. With minimal detergent & extra rinses, you’ll have the cleanest clothes ever! Pretreat stains with a drop or 2 of detergent right on the stain or Zout. Citric acid rinse aids work amazing for towels and clothes. My favorite detergents are Tide with bleach powder & Persil but the Persil with the orange logo will cause a suds error. I only use 1 tablespoon of liquid Persil or the pods
