• Yes it says it right in the description that it is energy efficient. Also it has different settings for the water temp to make it more efficient with different water levels to customize your wash.

• I didn’t really check on efficiently but my previous machines were 24 years old. Expected they would be better. Haven’t had the machine long to see any difference in energy bill.
