I have had the same. I think that the spin cycle is so good that it just takes out most of the water.

Dry spots can occur if the washer is overloaded or if the item being washed is too large and bulky (such as an overstuffed comforter) to tumble properly. For such items, you may need to remove them, rearrange them, and then run another wash cycle.
