“Does this set work with a Direct TV remote? We use Direct TV and want to be sure it will be compatible with the Direct TV remote. We do not want to keep up with 2 remotes to opperate on TV”

Samsung is NOT compatible with Direct TV!. Went thru 3 DVRs with remote refusing to work after a few weeks each time. Turn the set on and wait for about 30 min and then it will work, or turn to station you will want the next time you turn it on, before you turn it off. Never buy another. Speakers were bad too.

I, unfortunatly, do not have any information of whether or not directv's remotes will work with our TV, but if there are codes for the unit, contacting Directv's Customer Service line will probably be your best course of action. -MrSamsung
