“What is the horizontal viewing angle? Is the picture clear if you need to sit very close and to the side?”

• Some TV's can be watched at any angle with no loss in picture color. This particular TV is junk. I know, I bought one. The picture is great IF you sit directly in front of it. Watch it from the side, say 20 degrees, which isn't much, and the colors fade out. A tan face will look bleach white.....very irritating.

• All LCD panels will lose some clarity at extreme levels. Most viewing angles that someone would normally sit for a while in should appear just fine, as we don't have any official viewing angle specifications. Most seats are a great seat. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S
