I bought a Samsung 50" DLP TV in 2007 and it's still great. There is a bulb in there that costs about $80 I've replaced twice. About 2 years ago I noticed some white dots appearing on my screen so I Googled the problem and found that Samsung had an extended warranty on it for a couple of years. I called Samsung customer service and even though my TV was 5-6 years old they put in a new chip for FREE! The repairman said it was the main chip and it was like getting a new TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have only had our a few weeks, so unknown as of yet. However, we have had a Samsung UN40H5050 model for over two years, and it still works great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There's no way to answer this. There are lots of variables that can effect the longevity. Samsung will offer a Warranty for a year, part and labor, on televisions sold in the U.S. from authorized resellers. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S
