- Answer Thank you for your question. This television does include the A/V cable and stand/base needed for setup. As far as any HDMI cables, you would have to buy those separately for each device you would be connecting to the television. You should be able to get a coaxial or HDMI cable for you cable box from your cable company. -Mimi

QuestionDoes the base of the TV swivel?Does the base of the TV swivel without moving the entire base of the TV?

- Answer Nope. I attached photos... It's just a solid piece of black plastic base and you use 4 screws to attach it to the TV. Even if it could swivel... I think it would be really ineffective. The TV is very light, so I "swivel" it all the time by just gently pushing on one of the sides of it (and obviously the base moves too). I'm am a very not strong (I hate to use the word "weak") girl and I have no problem moving it.

- Answer Allem, This can be used with a laptop computer provided it has an HDMI output port. However, unlike a monitor, your resolution will be limited to 1080p. Monitors often have higher resolutions for more screen space. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S

- Answer Yes and no. Some websites work, but not a lot. Says the tv runs out of "memory". You can get by this by using a phone or computer and running a hdmi cable. But consider the tvs web browser as basically worthless.

- Answer Chet, This model has both a digital tuner and a QAM tuner. The digital tuner allows you to get Over-The-Air (rabbit ears) broadcasts. The QAM tuner allows you to get cable channels if you get cable service. Both can be searched, and both come with the TV. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S

- Answer Smart TV just means that it has internet capabilities. Your TV will be able to connect directly to apps like Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc instead of running apps from an Xbox or Roku. Most you can plug an Ethernet cord into or connect them via wifi. If you don't use applications like Netflix, don't worry about getting a smart tv.
