• Chet, This model has both a digital tuner and a QAM tuner. The digital tuner allows you to get Over-The-Air (rabbit ears) broadcasts. The QAM tuner allows you to get cable channels if you get cable service. Both can be searched, and both come with the TV. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S

• We have rabbit ears and it works just fine! We are going to get an outside antenna so we can wall mount it!

• All over the air antennas work. I use the type used on cars because of highwinds in Imperisl county

• You can connect an antennae to the coaxial input connector on the back of the TV to pick up over-the-air channels.
