• There is a web browser, if that's the answer you are looking for. So you can go wherever you want online. I'm not sure about options for syncing keyboards. There is also the capability to use it as an extra monitor for a computer (to display your laptop's screen on the TV for bigger picture).

• Sure if you hook up a wireless keyboard and mouse to function in the web browser mode.

• I wouldn't recommend as sitting that close would be rough on your eyes. My screen sits next to where my computer is and when watching something that the program is at night or dark, image is not good being that close.
