• Allem, This can be used with a laptop computer provided it has an HDMI output port. However, unlike a monitor, your resolution will be limited to 1080p. Monitors often have higher resolutions for more screen space. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S

• Yes, I connect my laptop to it with an HDMI cable which I bought separately and it works as a monitor and I can even use it as a second screen.

• I am currently using a 32" and it works great, easy on the eye too.

• Yes, if your computer has an HDMI output you should be able to easily
